Dr. Nazanin Montakhab studied at the prestigious University Of The Pacific in San Francisco, California where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She has also completed an extra year of university based training where she received the degree of Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University Of California, San Francisco. Dr. Montakhab was raised in sunny San Diego, California and is thrilled to be practicing in Calgary with her husband, Dr. Meghani, but says she is still adjusting to the varied climate.

Dr. Montakhab loves practicing all disciplines of dentistry and particularly enjoys working with children. Nazie strives for excellence in delivering quality restorative work in a gentle and caring manner. She is contstantly evolving her techniques to provide the very efficient and effective care.
Dr. Montakhab is proud to also be an member of the of the following dental organizations (note: these are not continuing education organizations). She is not only licenced to provide dental care in Alberta, but California as well.

Dr. Montakhab also enjoys giving back to her community by being actively involved with and donating to such organizations as: Alberta Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service Foundation (STARS), Aga Khan Foundation, Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank Society, Alberta Diabetes Foundation and many others providing care to those less fortunate. When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Montakhab loves scuba diving, skiing and figure skating.
