Oral conscious sedation is very safe.  Our dentists have been trained by the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS) and are up to date on the latest protocols. DOCS has trained over 12,000 dentist and in over 1 million cases performed by DOCS members, there has never been an adverse event in an adult patient.  To increase the margin of safety, we use specialized equipment to monitor our patients' vital signs throught the sedation visit.
